Writing on an airplane, bus or subway, is a great break in a hectic day. Spend time in your Circle Journey Book and vicariously feel like you’re spending time with the ones you’re sharing the book with. Write while you’re waiting in a hotel lobby. If you get the chance to travel to Europe or the Far East, have someone write something for you in a different language. Chinese characters seem amazing when written in your book.

Some people have painted in their Circle Journey Books. Some have embroidered the pages, drawn pictures, sketched new ideas, designed a cool new product and other inventive ideas. When I was in Paris with my wife at the church at Notre Dame, we dripped candle wax on a page and pressed our fingerprints into the soft, white wax to always remember that dramatic evening and our time there.

You girls and women that believe guys won’t write you back need to reconsider. Men have plenty of feelings and stories. With these book s, they won’t have to look for a card or write a long letter. Give them a chance. You’ll probably be surprised. This is a very easy and quick way to enhance a relationship. Many men are sharing Circle Journey Books. We’ve heard from fathers and romantics, boyfriends and brothers, fraternity guys, boys in grade school and men with terminal illnesses. So just send it to them and enjoy the anticipation of its return.

If you’re from a broken family and are not always able to be with your kids or parents, be in touch in a special way. Circle Journey is a powerful way to erase the miles or emotional distance. Start one now and have it then for a lifetime.

Most of the time, we think of writing in the our books by ourselves. Once in a while consider writing together at the same time with the person you're sharing the book with... maybe at a nice dinner at a restaraunt, coffee shop or at a family get-together or class reunion. And when you’re apart, it will be meaningful to read it again and imagine that time together.
